ICC T20 World Cup 2022: Who Will Win The T20 World Cup 2022:

The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 is slated to begin on 16th October in Australia. The countdown for the mega cricketing event has already begun, and there has been a spike in cricket fans' engagement as we head closer to the World Cup proceedings.

As many as 12 top cricket sides will feature in the final round of the T20 World Cup 2022 before the knockouts. Out of these 12, eight teams are the automatic qualifiers, while the remaining four are picked after the qualifying round.

The top four teams of the qualifying round will join the automatic qualifying teams. Teams are divided into two groups which are listed down below.

Qualifying Round:

Group 1- Netherlands, Namibia, Sri Lanka & UAE

Group 2- Ireland, West Indies, Zimbabwe & Scotland

Super 12s:

Group A: England, New Zealand, Australia, Afghanistan, A1 & B2

Group B: India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, A2 & B1

All the teams are gearing up for the ultimate challenge and knit-picking their flaws before the World Cup 2022. Although Australia and India are the two top favourite sides to win the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, no one can predict the outcome. The shortest format of the game is always full of excitement and surprises.

Who Will Win The T20 World Cup 2022:

Australia:

The Aussies are the defending champions and one of the strongest sides in world cricket. They have gone from strengths to strengths in the last few months as far as white ball cricket is concerned.

Out of nowhere, they managed to win the T20 World Cup 2021 and now will look to retain the title. The upcoming World Cup is in their backyard, putting them ahead of other teams.

India:

It's almost become challenging to write team India off of any contest, no matter where the matches are being played. India is one of the most formidable sides in the cricket world. The number one ranked T20I side will undoubtedly enjoy their outing Down Under.

Following an early exit from the T20 World Cup 2021, team India has adopted an aggressive batting approach, bringing fruitful results. The bowling has been fantastic all this while.

The only issue in the recent Asia Cup was death bowling, which will be solved as Harshal Patel and Jasprit Bumrah get into the groove. They will surely need some substantial game time, but it won't be an issue for India in the World Cup 2022.

Pakistan:

The Pakistanis have been an absolute treat to watch all this while. They have made giant strides and have been playing good cricket. The Men in Green were outstanding in the last edition of the T20 World Cup.

The Babar Azam-led side defeated India and New Zealand in their run-up to the T20 World Cup 2021, apart from defeating Afghanistan and Namibia. They were undefeated in the group stage, which speaks volumes about their performances.

They are among the most formidable contenders for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022. Pakistan also played magnificently in the recent Asia Cup 2022.

South Africa:

Although not many pick South Africa as their favourite to win the tournament, the Proteas are among the finest teams. The number three ranked T20I side will threaten India, Australia, and Pakistan.

Recently, South Africa defeated England and Ireland in the T20I series to prove their mettle. Moreover, the Proteas went on to draw the five-match T20I series against India earlier this year.

The South Africans are our favourite to come out good in the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Who Will Win T20 World Cup 2022 – Final Prediction:
